On the season finale of There's Too Many Podcasts! I'm please to host Dr. Carla Marie Manly. Dr. Carla hosts Imperfect Love, a podcast that explores the messy and imperfect road of life. Today's topic is on mental health, with a disclaimer at the start to anyone who suffers from mental health. Dr. Carla and I discuss the specifics of attachment theory, and how it impacts our relationships, the partners we choose, and the decisions we make in our love life. I am very proud of this episode. Those of you who have been along the journey of my relationship all season long, you will enjoy a little bit of closure to the story here! And I can't thank Dr. Manly enough. She is a wonderful soul, that offers us a calm, positive spirit in explaining these difficult subjects.

Jason Sherman, of Strap on Your Boots, joins me this week for a chat about entrepreneurship. I would describe Jason as an accomplished techie. I felt a good connection with him because of our similar paths. As a small business owner myself, I can tell you that it is great fun, but hard (sometimes frustrating) work. In this episode Jason and I discuss our two different approaches to small business ownership, and a few of his other projects, including Spinnr, an app designed to curb the loneliness epidemic.

Chrisi Talyn Saje, a.k.a. "Madison on the Air" joins me this week to talk about her very cool and unique idea. Madison on the Air is one of the funniest ideas I've come across. The character, Madison, is a modern day gal who's transported back in time into old time radio shows. I happen to love old time radio shows, and Chrisi's modern spin on these classics is so interesting to me. We discuss script process, working with OTR shows with a modern lens, and have a lot of laughs along the way. Enjoy!

The delightful and engaging Katie Mack joins me this week for a quick therapy session, followed by a discussion of the work of the International Human Rights Art Movement. IHRAM is a wonderful organization that is doing its part to amplify the work of artists living in areas where doing what they do, and being who they are, can mean imprisonment or death. Being Pride Month, I thought it was appropriate to discuss art in the queer community, and how its being attacked both domestically and abroad. While the topic is heavy, and I'm in my Emo phase, Katie and I discuss the bravery of these artists, as well as her podcasting background. This is an episode I intended to air much later, however the topic was so important, and the guest so wonderful, I couldn't wait to share it with you. Enjoy!

Welcome to the first episode of There's Too Many Podcasts! A Podcast About Podcasts. For my first interview, I could think of no one better than my new friend Mike Chisholm. Mike hosts the wildly entertaining The Letterman Podcast, about our mutual idol, David Letterman. We chat about our love of all things "Dave" and a little about life in general as well. Mike definitely lives up to the nice Canadian stereotype, and I can't thank him enough for joining me at the launch of this little piece of nonsense.
As Dave would say, they don't give these shows to chimps! Enjoy!
